Derek heads for RV2 Shaftesbury Avenue for the Medicinema Charity Auction.

RV2 offers a completely new perspective on dining – the restaurant is a sophisticated and stylish twist on traditional South Indian food delivering authentic flavours fused with modern European ingredients.

Celebrity patrons of Medicinema include Ben Elton, Cathy Tyson, Heather Mills, Helen Mirren, Mariella Frostrup, Patsy Kensit, Jeremy Irons and celebrity guests include Graham Norton, Jimmi Mistry, Holly Valance, Davina McCall, Denise Van Outen and Meera Syal.

The event commenced at 7:30pm with a champagne and cocktail reception where guests sampled RV2’s contemporary food. At 8:30pm the auction started, hosted by Liz Fuller and Derek Gibbons. With the bidding fast and furious, guests were given the opportunity to bid for fantastic film related lots. All guests went away with tickets for the charity premiere of hit britflick “Love Actually”.
